This Canadian Shmirshky Party was an all-day, multi-location, festival of menopause support! Here’s how Dandy, the amazing Shmirshky Party hostess, described it:
“I had a wonderful Shmirshky Party day! Started off with some shopping at the mall with my aunt and cousin, (lots of uterus and surgery talk), then we went to the spa for some pedicures and facials! I of course had my toes painted orange, while wearing an orange flower in my hair and bright orange boas, so much fun! Then we met up with more friends for dinner, and back to my house for deserts, coffee and pamper treat bags for everyone. Lots of conversations about menopause, periods, uterus, and hysterectomy talk. We had a good 20 year age span amongst my guests, so lots of different ideas, perspectives and questions. It was a very informative and memorable party! I can’t wait to scrapbook my party!”

Boy do I wish I could have been at this one – what a fantastic group of women offering support to each other in the pursuit of hormone happiness! Perimenopause and menopause has nothing on these gals: the experienced shmirshkies shared their wisdom and support, and the younger shmirshkies are more prepared.
