So many times I felt alone during PM&M (perimenopause and menopause), except, of course, for the sumo wrestler in my head. You know, the massive wrestlers who wear those mawashi loincloths? A guy like that! He is big. I mean, really, really, big and very intimidating. in real life they might be nice guys, but in my mind, the sumo is always trying to make me feel bad about myself and strip me of my confidence and self-worth.
Being aware of your sumo is so helpful because he shows up a lot! Now when my sumo jumps in my face and begins yelling at me, I try to minimize him – I make him smaller in my mind. Don’t forget, no matter what your sumo says, you are wonderful! Try living every day SUMO FREE!
